The Courage to Begin
Often, when we think of end-of-life planning, our minds jump straight to the paperwork. We think of the “Essential Tasks”—the wills, the passwords, and the logistical checklists.
While those are vital, they aren’t where the true story lives. The real work starts with the heart and soul. It starts with a simple question: Who do I love, and how do I want them to feel when I am no longer here to tell them?
When we approach planning from a place of fear or obligation, it feels like a chore. But when we approach it as a final gift of clarity and peace, it becomes an act of profound love.
This Journal is a space for us to explore that shift together. We aren’t just filing documents; we are leaving behind a map of our intentions, ensuring that our presence is felt long after our physical tasks are complete.
Take a breath.
The paperwork can wait for tomorrow.
Today, just focus on the “why.”
